Courtney M. Harper, Senior Associate

Courtney Harper is a senior associate at Reputation Partners and brings more than seven years of public relations experience to the firm. She joined Reputation Partners as an associate in June 2006 and was promoted to senior associate in March 2008.

At Reputation Partners, Courtney works with a variety of financial services, commercial real estate and technology clients, including the Building Owners and Managers Association of Chicago (BOMA/Chicago), U.S. Equities Realty, Lincoln International and XO Communications. Specializing in strategic communications and marketing, executive positioning and media relations, Courtney is experienced at executing a wide range of proactive corporate public relations programs on behalf of her clients. Courtney also plays a part in the firm’s new business efforts through developing strategic presentations and proposals.

Prior to joining Reputation Partners, Courtney was an account executive at Solomon McCown & Company, a Boston-based public relations agency. There, she focused on strategic messaging, communication planning and media and grassroots/community relations activities for the agency’s corporate and non-profit clients. Her previous client roster included The New Boston Fund, The Low-income Energy Affordability Network, Pfizer’s Boston Heart Party, the West End House Boys and Girls Club and the Allston-Brighton Community Development Corporation.

Previously, Courtney was the media and public relations officer at the Consulate General of Israel to New England. In this role, she was responsible for developing, managing and executing the organization’s external communications program. She spearheaded a wide range of initiatives, including arranging media tours for visiting diplomats, responding to breaking news events in the Middle East and positioning Israeli-government officials as expert sources for broadcast and print media throughout New England.

A graduate of Boston University, Courtney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism. As a student, she interned in the media relations department of C-SPAN and in the office of U.S. Representative Christopher Shays on Capitol Hill.

Courtney lives in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.
