Erin Serkaian is an associate at Reputation Partners with more than three years of experience in the communications industry. After joining Reputation Partners as an intern in May 2007, Erin was quickly promoted to account coordinator and advanced to the associate position in July 2008.
Erin works with a variety of clients in the financial services, education, professional services and real estate industry, including Career Education Corporation, Fifth Third Bank in Chicago and St. Louis, Lincoln International, Manpower and U.S. Equities Realty. With strong media relations skills, Erin has secured positive media placements in national media outlets such as Reuters and The Wall Street Journal, as well as major regional outlets, including Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times and WABC-TV in New York City, among others. She also executes various corporate and executive positioning strategies, securing high-profile award and speaking opportunities and philanthropic, civic and business board leadership roles on behalf of clients.
In addition to her expertise in traditional public relations, Erin has an intricate understanding of social media strategies. This is used to help advance the creativity and overall reach of corporate communications programs implemented by Reputation Partners.
Erin graduated cum laude from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI. She earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Integrative Public Relations and Organizational Communications and completed several public relations internships as a student. Erin served as public relations intern at Ionia County Community Mental Health in Ionia, MI, where she was responsible for media relations, special event planning and materials development. She also worked as an intern at Serkaian Communications in Lansing, MI for three summers and completed an internship in the press office of U.S. Senator Carl Levin on Capitol Hill.
Erin resides in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. She is a dedicated volunteer for Chicago Cares and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and a member of the Chicago Area Runners Association.
