What’s your favorite part of your job?
I truly enjoy problem solving and critical thinking, which is such a huge part of public relations. Each day brings a new challenge. Whether it’s trying out a new pitching strategy or telling a brand’s story in a unique way, there’s nothing more satisfying than figuring out the best solution to overcome an obstacle – no matter how big or small. Even at this stage in my career, I’m always finding new ways to solve problems, and I love that.
Besides the standard necessities (phone, wallet, keys, etc.), what’s something you never leave home without?
Definitely my headphones. Whether it’s my daily commute or running errands, I need a good soundtrack. I’m always checking out new music, but my go-to genre is indie rock.
Tell us about something you’re really proud of.
I once worked with actor Jon Voight on the set of Showtime’s Ray Donovan. I coached him on how to use a product during the filming of a pivotal scene and communicated its benefits to him. I also worked with screenwriters to integrate the product’s attributes into the script. The episode was a huge hit, and an experience that I’m super proud of.
