What’s your favorite part of your job?
I love that every day is different and that I have the opportunity to learn about a vast range of industries that I would have never known otherwise. One day, I am managing event PR for one of Milwaukee’s largest community events, the Milwaukee Air & Water Show, and the next I am providing strategic communications recommendations for a national chemical company.

What’s something people are always surprised to find out about you?
Like many Minnesotans before me, I played hockey in high school. In fact, I played goalie for my high school’s team. I grew up ice skating. While I was decent at stick handling, I found my calling in the net…eh.

Tell us about something you’re really proud of.
To celebrate my 21st birthday, I climbed the tallest mountain in North Africa – Jbel Toubkal, located outside of Marrakech, Morocco. With support from a friend and guide, I reached the summit in under 12 hours. Jbel Toubkal stands at 4,167 meters or 13,671 feet and is also the second tallest mountain on the continent of Africa!
