Kelly has 20+years of bookkeeping and related experience with a variety of small companies. I started by recording accounts receivable and accounts payable items at the age of 13, though I didn’t earn any money for my work until I landed my first job at 15. Working in an office setting genuinely interested me at this age. I learned some of the most valuable life and work lessons during my high school and college years.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
In bookkeeping, I thoroughly enjoy organizing numbers and appreciate the satisfaction that comes from completing a task, be it big or small. I’m most interested in continued evaluation of strategic ways any task can be completed more efficiently and effectively.
If you could have dinner with a famous person (past or present), who would it be and why?
Jane Fonda! I recently watched a documentary about her and appreciate her layered life as a female.
Besides the standard necessities (phone, wallet, keys, etc.), what’s something you never leave home without?
I cannot leave home without medicated Chapstick. It’s sad but true.
