Overview

In 2023, Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) partnered with Reputation Partners to strengthen its position as a global commercial real estate leader and navigate lingering market challenges stemming from the pandemic. Headquartered in Chicago, JLL aimed to counter negative market perceptions and generate positive momentum for its tenant representation and agency leasing partners. The engagement focused on leveraging data, research and strategic media relations to establish JLL as the most trusted authority on commercial real estate, workplace trends and relocation strategies. While Chicago remains a primary market, this partnership also spans 12 additional cities across the greater Midwest.

Strategy

JLL and Reputation Partners created a ‘news bureau’ that leveraged JLL’s research and data to fuel media news cycles, providing an accurate and timely snapshot of market conditions. This initiative also provided media access to well-prepared broker spokespersons who offered nuanced insights and strategic guidance to broad audiences.

Furthermore, we regularly coordinated with top-tier media to tease out key insights under embargo, so they were prepared to cover the research once released to the public.
