Overview

SEKO Logistics, a leader in end-to-end global supply chain solutions, operates in a complex, fast-moving environment where communication is critical. As SEKO’s strategic communications partner, Reputation Partners (RP) supports a wide range of internal and external communications initiatives across the business. One important component of this ongoing partnership is the development and execution of a rapid-response client advisory system.

Together, RP and SEKO built and refined a real-time communications protocol that ensures internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders receive timely, actionable information during global disruptions. This process reinforces SEKO’s position as a proactive, trusted source of insight in the global logistics space—and represents just one part of our broader effort to support the company’s communications strategy.

Strategy

The primary objective was to create a streamlined advisory model that delivered concise, actionable information to internal and external audiences. This helped reinforce SEKO’s reputation as an industry and thought leader while enabling stakeholders to respond confidently to unfolding events.

To meet this objective, RP designed a multi-step communications framework:

  • Disruption Monitoring & Flagging: RP and SEKO monitor global news and industry developments daily. Disruptions with the potential to impact supply chains—such as natural disasters, labor disputes, or regulatory changes—are flagged for advisory consideration.
  • Subject Matter Expert Collaboration: When a disruption is identified, RP quickly partners with SEKO’s internal experts to gather key insights that are relevant and valuable to clients.
  • Concise, Actionable Format: Each advisory is intentionally brief, clearly structured, and focused on what matters most—what’s happening, why it matters, and what clients should do next. This format ensures stakeholders can absorb critical information quickly and make informed decisions in real time.
  • Internal Advisories: RP crafts concise internal updates to keep SEKO’s global workforce informed and aligned. These enable teams to address client concerns with clarity and speed.
  • Executive “Song Sheets”: To ensure message consistency across the organization, RP develops brief talking points and FAQs that executives can cascade across their teams—so everyone is “singing from the same song sheet.”
  • Client-Facing E-Blasts: Once internal communications are complete, RP produces clear, client-ready advisories that SEKO distributes to its clients across the globe. These updates offer clients timely insights and actionable guidance.
  • Website Integration: Advisories are published in SEKO’s Knowledge Hub to ensure ongoing access for clients and stakeholders.
  • Social Media Amplification: RP adapts each advisory into social media content shared across SEKO’s LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram Stories to expand visibility.
  • Media Outreach: When relevant, RP shares the advisory with targeted media contacts, allowing reporters to incorporate SEKO’s perspective into news coverage.

Results

This agile, multi-channel approach delivers measurable impact:

  • Consistent, Clear Stakeholder Communication: Clients and internal teams remain informed and aligned through every phase of disruption—building trust and reinforcing SEKO’s reliability.
  • Proactive Risk Mitigation: SEKO is able to preemptively manage operational challenges by responding to disruption in real-time.
  • Enhanced Client Confidence: Transparent, timely communication strengthens SEKO’s reputation as a proactive partner—helping clients feel informed and supported when it matters most.
  • New Business Opportunities: The advisory program has opened the door to deeper conversations with existing clients who were unaware SEKO could support them in certain disruption scenarios, while also prompting inbound interest from new organizations seeking supply chain guidance.
  • Earned Media Value: Sharing advisories with reporters leads to inclusion in industry coverage, building awareness and credibility for SEKO as a go-to source on logistics issues.
